Here, you'll find my music compositions. I host most of them on Soundcloud and/or YouTube, and you can also download individual files here. Many compositions also include a Finale and/or PDF sheet music file. (Please note the CC license.)
Light of the Seven (Game of Thrones S06E10) arranged for solo piano and cello [2019]
YouTube MP3 Sheet music: PDF MUSX
Originally composed by Ramin Djawani, and the first major introduction of piano on the Game of Thrones soundtrack. I recorded this arrangement with myself on piano and Ian Heller on cello. Simplifying down to two instruments was challenging, but lets each performer produce a broad, impactful sound.
Rolling Out! [2018]
An original chiptune composition using the VRC6 module from FamiTracker. Our protagonist is suited up and ready for action!
Love (Fez Piano Cover) [2015]
YouTube MP3 Sheet music: PDF MUS
Piano cover of "Love" from the Fez original soundtrack by Disasterpeace (buy the official album here).
This is my first time experimenting with recording from my digital piano directly to MIDI. I used Anvil Studio and the Farfisa Grand Piano soundfont to render it.
Going to Georgia (Chiptune Remix) [2015]
Chiptune remix of "Going to Georgia" by The Mountain Goats. I used FamiTracker to arrange this.
Shared Sunset [2011]
YouTube MP3 Sheet music: PDF MUS
This is my first solo piano piece, composed and performed by myself. It attempts to evoke a sense of calm and closure at the end of another day.
Four of a Kind [2009]
A partially finished suite of chiptune tracks. Originally composed for Carnegie Mellon University's Introduction to Computer Music class. My sound synthesizer emulates that of an NES. I used FamiTracker to write each piece, and then encoded it using this synthesizer.
The Bridge [2006]
An a cappella SATB work set to Shel Silverstein's poem of the same name. I wrote this as a reflection on my high school graduation. (Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get this recorded since I can't cover all of the SATB parts. If you think you can help, email me at 'jeff', followed by the usual email symbol, followed by the domain of this website (starting with the letter 'a').
